As a ministry of the Parish of Christ the King, we are committed to giving our students a quality, Catholic education. Beginning in Kindergarten, we focus on developing students' faith, academics, and the social tools necessary for future success.
While academics naturally get a lot of attention, we understand that our students will never be successful without developing all of the tools necessary for life--both in and outside the classroom. Rather than focusing on being further ahead of everyone else, we focus on the solid foundation our students will need to move forward. We utilize the benefits of play time and socialization, in addition to core academics. After all, it doesn't matter how smart our students are if they cannot regulate themselves or work with their peers.
As students proceed through our elementary grades we continue to focus on a solid understanding of reading, writing, and math. While our standardized test scores show that our students are often a year and a half above grade level, we continue to make sure they master the foundations they need to take the next steps in 5th grade and beyond. This approach is validated in seeing even larger incremental jumps in grade level as they enter middle school. While standardized test scores are a useful tool, we are ultimately concerned with developing well-rounded, happy, and faith-filled students.
